What is an AFFINITY Field Manager?

Field Managers come in two varieties. One type of Field Manager is a Model Agent or Talent Manager. These Field Managers are paid on a Commission-only basis. The second type of Field Manager is an especially responsible Lead Model who has demonstrated leadership abilities. These models are paid substantially more than the other models/talent on a live event. Both types oversee and take responsibility for an AFFINITY promotion, tradeshow or other live event.

Affinity Field Manager Responsibilites:
Field Managers oversee the other models on a promotion or other live event. When there is no Marketing Officer, the Field Manager or their designer will supervise on-site.

Duties include:

• Double-confirm talent participation 24 hours ahead
• Call backup talent if those on schedule do not respond or confirm.
• Appear at least 20 minutes before other talent.
• Sign models in and out on timesheets
• Report lateness and other performance problems.
• Call the AFFINITY office daily to give updates, report problems, questions and concerns.
• Coordinate required breaks
• Complete and fax models timesheets or vouchers to AFFINITY in a timely manner.
• Give models performance feedback and constructive criticism.

Models turn to their field manager if they have any questions about hours, problems with the assignment, the marketing staff, rate of pay or any other issue. Affinity Field Managers always complement publicly and criticize privately.

Models or actors who wish to, may apply for Field Manager/Lead Model positions. These positions will be filled as needed. AFFINITY Field Manager positions may be useful to talent studying marketing, public relations, communications, event planning, business administration or management.

Field Managers are the public face of AFFINITY. As such, they have a special responsibility to always be diplomatic, courteous and kind.
